- During Jungle Trekking you will dehydrate. Carry your own hydrating liquid.
- Leech is common in jungle. Carry Sport's shoes ( Trekking shoes proffered)+ with full leg socks and trekking suit.

It was a 5-day Jungle trip experience in Purple camp of Ghena forest at Mukteshwar.
Professional coach will teach you to tackle dangerous situation in a forest.
It was a great experience visiting Mukteshwar.
The best part was to stay in a camp, with no lighting and basic facilities.
The place is not very crowded with almost no hotels but it is easy to commute from Delhi ISBT .
This place offers a lot in terms of scenic beauty, tracking, adventure activities like rock climbing, rappelling, fire fox, enjoying a bath in water fall, eating lunch near the fall during track etc.
Great ambiance for sitting alone and enjoying the breeze of nature or dancing on local live music will rejuvenate you.
Here they will serve you drinks with snacks, followed by lavish dinner. Staff is very homely and respectful. You may request for tea/ coffee any number of times. Moreover, you can request for special Paratha or omelet and no one tells you "It’s not part of the package”.
I personally believe, it is a great place to visit with groups and children above 10 year of age. Not so right for elderly people as one has to walk a lot, carry own luggage etc. Temple track, Sunrise track, natural fall track is quite amazing.

Trip to Triund ( Impromptu getaway to ‘Land of Lamas’ )

It’s been 84 days but I can still smell the fresh air … Triund called the Trek of dreams and it is it really is (Trying to be poetic copied from Titanic Famous Dialogue).I call myself Beach person but can’t deny the fact as soon as I reach in Hills I forgot what is Beach . I love solo travelling since it gives you a chance to explore place with your own pace and you learn a lot not just about the culture but it also gives you chance to know yourself better.
Total no. of Days :- 3 Days , 4 Nights ( Friday Night Journey Start and you will return on Tuesday Morning)

Total expenditure (Per head):- 2500-3000 on Budget trip.

Dates/Season/Month/Best season : Best time to visit Mcleodganj/ Dharamshala is from September to December and Mid-March to Mid-July. Visit in Jan, if you want to enjoy snow, August is Rainy season. However if you want to go to Triund Skip Months of January and February because byway to Triund is cut off by heavy snowfall.

Starting point & time:  ISBT Kashmiri Gate , Delhi ,at 8:00 PM.

Mode of transportation: State Government Buses and Private buses from Delhi. Local Sigh seeing can be done by Taxi or Auto. One can take train from Delhi till Pathankot then hire a cab or Bus.

Places to stay:  There are hotels, catering to all kind of pockets, since mine was a low budget trip, I settled for a hotel where the tariff per night was 400 rupees. If you are looking for Cheap hotels Better look at back side of Main Market. I stayed La Familia Hotel which is next to Bella Hotel.

Places to eat at/ Delicacy: The Momos and Thupka are definitely a must try when you visit Mcleodganj. Nick's Italian kitchen and Jimmy's Italian kitchen serves some great pizzas, lasagna and gnocchi. The authentic Bhutanese and Tibetan food at Tibet Kitchen is definitely worth digging into. Mclo Café Roof Top, Carpe Diem.

Must visit Places: Bhagshu Nag TempleWaterfall Near Bhagsu Nag, Shiva Café (Near Waterfall), MonasteryTriund Trek. If you have time you can go to Bir Billing for paragliding experience and Dharamshala to See world’s Highest International Stadium.

Must Shop/Souvenirs/Shopping places: You can buy Be it paintings, musical bowls, idol of Lord Buddha, Tibetan jewelry, artifacts, music or cloths.

Points to be cautious about:- Shopkeeper will ask more Money so it’s totally depend how much one can bargain.

Additional tips:  Bir Billing can be visited for paragliding from Dharamshala by taxi. You can also take a bus to Palampur and hire a taxi from there.

Carry Big bottle of Water during Trek since buying water bottle from shops is expensive (40-50 rupee per bottle).
Planning the trip: Carry Windcheater, Umbrella or Rain Coat, Sleeper, Trekking Shoes, One torch if your phone don’t have flash , Swiss Knife , Jacket

Please Note: If you are planning for Trekking better keep as less clothes as possible.
